Yes, it&#8217;s as easy as that.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I rarely cook anything beefy in the kitchen. So keep this as a rare post on my blog. The next time I cook this dish again would be the day I run out of ideas for my recipes.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Beef: 400g, sliced<\/li>\n<li>Dark soy sauce: 4 tsp + 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Ground whitepepper: 1 tsp + 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Oil: 4 tbsp<\/li>\n<li>Old ginger: 1\/5&#8243;, sliced<\/li>\n<li>Shallot: 100g, finely chopped<\/li>\n<li>Rice: 6 cups, cooked<\/li>\n<li>Salt: 2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Spring onion: 1 stalk, chopped<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Method<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Mix beef with 4 tsp dark soy sauce and 1 tsp white pepper. Leave to marinate in fridge overnight.<\/li>\n<li>Heat oil in wok. Saute ginger and shallots till golden brown.<\/li>\n<li>Add marinated beef and fry for 1 min till just cooked.<\/li>\n<li>Add in rice, salt, 1 tsp white pepper and 1 tsp dark soy sauce. Stir till evenly combined.<\/li>\n<li>Serve hot with spring onions as garnish.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-10888 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/peepor.net\/pint\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Beef-Fried-Rice.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"519\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Trick<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I really should have sliced those beef into much thinner slices. These were much thicker than what I had in mind and hence took a lot longer to cook, making them rather tough to chew on.
