Set aside.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Add rum and raisin essence to egg white. Beat together till soft peak forms.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pour sago into egg white mixture and stir to combine evenly.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pour sago mixture into 6 serving cups and refrigerate overnight.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Place water and gula melaka in small pot and stir over low heat till dissolved.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Let it cool down, then refrigerate 2 hrs.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">To serve: Top sago with 1-2 tbsp gula melaka and coconut milk each.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong><em>Tricks<\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The egg white is supposed to make the sago softer in texture and ensure that the sago do not stick together.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The essence makes the pudding fragrant even without much of the gula melaka and coconut, which caters to the tastebud of those without a sweet tooth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Serving<\/em><\/strong>:<br \/>\n6 small servings for 3-6 persons<\/p>\n<div id=\"wp_fb_like_button\" style=\"margin:5px 5px 5px 0;float:left;height:40px;\"><script src=\"https:\/\/connect.facebook.net\/en_US\/all.js#xfbml=1\"><\/script><fb:like href=\"https:\/\/peepor.net\/pint\/blog\/?p=1137\" send=\"true\" layout=\"button_count\" width=\"450\" show_faces=\"true\" font=\"verdana\" action=\"like\" colorscheme=\"light\"><\/fb:like><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Of course, my heartfelt thanks goes to &#8216;Sabine&#8217;, because without her, I wouldn&#8217;t have realised that this dessert is so easy to make!
