This simple recipe allows me to make enough of a batch and keep it for my workday afternoons and lazy weekends &#8211; perfect for curbing my snack itch and drowsiness and definitely great with a nice cuppa coffee!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Milk chocolate: 75g, broken into pieces<\/li>\n<li>White chocolate: 75g, broken into pieces<\/li>\n<li>Unsalted butter: 115g (1\/2 cup)<\/li>\n<li>Caster sugar: 60g (4 tbsp)<\/li>\n<li>Egg: 2<\/li>\n<li>Plain flour: 225g (2 cups)<\/li>\n<li>Icing sugar: to dust<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Method<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Melt milk and white chocolate separately over a water bath. Set aside.<\/li>\n<li>Whisk together butter and sugar till pale and fluffy.<\/li>\n<li>Beat in eggs one at a time till combined.<\/li>\n<li>Sift in flour and stir to combine. Divide mixture into 2 portions.<\/li>\n<li>Mix chocolate separately into each portion. Knead into dough till smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Wrap in film wrap and chill for 1 hr.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat oven at 190 degrees Celsius.<\/li>\n<li>Roll out balls of chocolate and place onto greased baking paper.<\/li>\n<li>Bake 12 min till browned at the edges. Set on rack to cool 15min.<\/li>\n<li>Dust with icing sugar.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a side with coffee or ice-cream.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-11637 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/peepor.net\/pint\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/Chocolate-Kisses-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"418\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Disclaimers<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This cookie is slightly between that of a cake dough texture and a soft cookie. It is not entirely crunchy, but soft especially in the middle portion.
