With leaves and eggs and all things nice.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I love how this recipe mimicks the Christmas season, what with the lovely basil garnish looking like fallen leaves as well as grated egg that makes the plate looks like it&#8217;s filled with snow (though the green leaves still don&#8217;t really make sense together with it but&#8230; oh well). This recipe also works very well as a party snack because it&#8217;s bite-sized and delicious. I&#8217;m sure it&#8217;ll get cleaned up pretty quickly because it&#8217;s really yummylicious!<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Egg: 6<\/li>\n<li>Avocado: 1<\/li>\n<li>Extra virgin olive oil: 1\/2 tbsp<\/li>\n<li>Salt: to taste<\/li>\n<li>Ground blackpepper: to taste<\/li>\n<li>Basil leaf: 1 handful, finely chopped<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Method<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Boil eggs for 15min till hardboiled. Leave to cool for 15min.<\/li>\n<li>Deshell and halve 5 of them. Scoop out yolks and place yolks into a mixing bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Combine yolks with avocado, olive oil, salt and ground blackpepper. Mash into a smooth paste.<\/li>\n<li>Scoop paste into a piping bag. Pipe back into egg whites. Place onto serving plate.<\/li>\n<li>Grate last egg to sprinkle over devilled eggs.<\/li>\n<li>Garnish with basil leaves to serve.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-11848 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/peepor.net\/pint\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Eggs-Mimosa-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"374\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Trick:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To save time, simply use a spoon to scoop the paste back into the whites without the piping bag.
