What better option than to serve up a dish that looks golden and bright and round (a.k.a. \u91d1\u7389\u6ee1\u5802)? A round ingot that brings prosperity to the year ahead, hopefully the remaining months continue to shine bright and remain cheerful. May this year (which is supposed to be a not-so-good year for the roosters) be a happy and healthy one for me and those around me.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Huat ah!<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Egg tofu: 2 packs, sliced<\/li>\n<li>Cornflour: 1\/2 cup + 1 tbsp<\/li>\n<li>Oil: 4 tbsp<\/li>\n<li>Fresh prawn: 100g, roughly chopped<\/li>\n<li>Sesame oil: 1\/2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Oyster sauce: 1\/2 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Ground white pepper: a pinch<\/li>\n<li>Onion: 1, small, finely chopped<\/li>\n<li>Salted egg yolk: 2, boiled, mashed<\/li>\n<li>Chicken stock: 1 cup<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Method<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Roll egg tofu in 1\/2 cup cornflour.<\/li>\n<li>Heat oil in pan. Saute egg tofu slices, about 1min per side till golden brown.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from pan and arrange on a plate nicely.<\/li>\n<li>Mix prawns, sesame oil, oyster sauce, white pepper &amp; onions together.<\/li>\n<li>Scoop prawn mixture onto tofu slices.
