The use of avocado makes this egg salad slightly different from other types of salad because it tastes a lot &#8216;creamier&#8217; because of the flesh from the green fruit. Which is also why you don&#8217;t need any mayonnaise or salad cream in this salad at all (let the avocados do their job!)<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I.love.avocados. It&#8217;s as simple as that. I&#8217;m going to make another batch soon, like now.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Egg: 4, half mashed half roughly chopped<\/li>\n<li>Avocado: 2, mashed<\/li>\n<li>Onion powder: \u00bd tsp<\/li>\n<li>Ground nutmeg: \u00bd tsp<\/li>\n<li>Ground blackpepper: \u00bc tsp<\/li>\n<li>Salt: \u00bc tsp<\/li>\n<li>Lemon juice: 1 tbsp<\/li>\n<li>Brioche slice: 6 slices<\/li>\n<li>English parsley: a handful, finely chopped<\/li>\n<li>Basil: a handful, finely chopped<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Method<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Combine eggs, avocados, onion powder, ground nutmeg, ground blackpepper and salt.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Squeeze in lemon juice to prevent browning.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Spread on brioche toasts.
