I had a packet of glutinous rice flour in the cupboard that I wanted to try to use up, so this recipe seemed the most straightforward and without the need to get too much of anything else. I had a pen of edible ink as well, so, why not do something crazy? Might as well.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I invited the hub and the boy to draw funny faces. Can&#8217;t recall who drew what, but it was all fun and we got to choose which one to gobble up too.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">My emotions this week at work? It&#8217;s got to be that one right at the center of the tray. I am hoping this weekend can be those two right at the top.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Glutinous rice flour: 1 cup<\/li>\n<li>Caster sugar: 1\/4 cup<\/li>\n<li>Water: 1 1\/4 cups, room temperature<\/li>\n<li>Salt: 1\/4 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Orange extract: 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Yellow colouring: 1\/4 tsp<\/li>\n<li>Corn starch: 1\/2 cup + extra for coating hands<\/li>\n<li>Edible black ink: 1 pen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Method<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Combine glutinous rice flour, sugar, water, salt, orange extract and yellow colouring. Stir till no lumps remain.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Microwave on high for 2min. Remove and stir.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Microwave on high again for 2min.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sprinkle corn starch onto a working board. Scrape dough onto corn starch.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Coat hands with corn starch. Flatten dough and cut into 12 pieces.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pinch together edges to form balls. Place onto small paper cups.<\/li>\n<li>Brush away extra flour.
