{"id":1430,"date":"2010-10-10T00:27:33","date_gmt":"2010-10-09T16:27:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/peepor.net\/pint\/blog\/?p=1430"},"modified":"2013-12-27T08:51:03","modified_gmt":"2013-12-27T00:51:03","slug":"a-weekend-out-about","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/peepor.net\/pint\/blog\/?p=1430","title":{"rendered":"A Weekend Out &#038; About But Still In County Durham"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Bon Bons\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/peepor.net\/pint\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Bon-Bons.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"650\" \/><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This morning, we went to the <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a title=\"Sainsbury\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sainsburys.co.uk\/sol\/index.jsp\" target=\"_blank\">Sainsbury<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a title=\"Asda\" href=\"http:\/\/www.asda.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Asda<\/a><\/span><\/strong> at the Arnison Centre again for our groceries, but this time with Anna, a nice Ukrainian girl who stays next block. It was great chatting with her during lunch time at the McDonald&#8217;s too; found out that she&#8217;s the only one doing PhD in Russian Language in her department!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I was permitted to get my weekly dosage of bon bons, and so decided to get this cute looking one called &#8216;Flying Saucers&#8217;. \ud83d\ude00 It&#8217;s really just styrofoam with some bits of sour powder in the middle.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/peepor.net\/pint\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Jack.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Jack\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/peepor.net\/pint\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Jack.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"733\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the marketplace where we managed to catch some remnants of the Saturday Market that takes place every Saturday morning, I caught sight of this beautiful German Shepherd (I assume) and asked to take a picture with it. It&#8217;s such a lovely dog, and I couldn&#8217;t take my hands off its fur. Lovely!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The pictures below are some of the first of nature and the surroundings in Durham that I took ever since I reached here.
