Brussel sprouts fit the bill just nice &#8211; a vegetable that remains stranger to our taste buds, yet is easy and uncomplicated to handle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Ingredients<\/em>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Brussel sprouts: 10, washed, halved<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cold water: 1 cup<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Salt: a pinch<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Butter: 2 tbsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Red cooking wine: 1 tbsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Red onion, 1\/2, chopped<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Orange juice: 1 orange<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Orange zest: 1 orange<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Preserved orange peels: 1 tbsp (or any other preserved fruits)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pine nuts: 1 tbsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Olive oil: for garnish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Method<\/em>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Place sprouts faced down on a saucepan.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Add water, salt and 1 tbsp butter to the pan. Boil on high heat till most water has evaporated.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Add remaining ingredients and butter to the pan. Stir-fry for 1 min.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Garnish with remaining pine nuts.
