On the other hand, this is probably the easiest bread recipe on earth, which was the only reason why I dared to make this endeavour. All hail <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a title=\"Classic Soda Bread Recipe\" href=\"http:\/\/www.channel4.com\/4food\/recipes\/chefs\/hugh-fearnley-whittingstall\/classic-soda-bread-recipe\" target=\"_blank\">Channel 4 Food Recipes<\/a><\/strong><\/span> for having this recipe!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>Ingredients<\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Plain flour: 500g<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bicarbonate of soda: 2 tsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Salt: 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Buttermilk: 400g (or live yoghurt)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Skimmed milk: 2 tbsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Poppy seeds: 1 tsp<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>Method<\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Preheat oven at 200 deg.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sift flour and bicarbonate of soda into mixing bowl. Stir in salt.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Stir in buttermilk. Add skimmed milk to bring mixture together.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Transfer dough onto lightly floured surface. Not sure if the bread would turn out even softer and lighter if I have used buttermilk instead.
