Thought I&#8217;ll make some dips for them since they would have had a heavy meal at a wedding lunch right before they come to my place.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>Ingredients<\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bread: 2 slices, crusts removed, quartered<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Milk: 120ml<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Shelled walnut: 200g<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ground almond: 100g<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Extra virgin olive oil: 100ml<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lemon: 1, juiced<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Salt: to taste<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ground black pepper: to taste<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Paprika: for dusting<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Parsley: 1 stalk, chopped<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Method<\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Soak bread slices in milk for 5mins.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Process bread with 150g walnuts till a coarse paste forms.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Add in almond, oil, lemon juice and process till just mixed.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Add salt and pepper to taste.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Crush the rest of the walnuts with fingertips. Mix half of it into dip.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Transfer dip into serving bowl. Let it remain coarse so as to enhance the texture of the dip.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you&#8217;d like to, squeeze a bit more lemon juice and drizzle a bit more oil onto dip before serving.
