It tastes exactly like Frikadellen, due largely to the fact that the ingredients used are about 90% similar to those used to make the Danish meatballs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Now I&#8217;ll have to think up something else to make next weekend in order to finish up the remaining cabbages and onions. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>Ingredients<\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">White cabbage: 400g (about half of 1 large cabbage)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Water: 2 liters + 1 cup for sauce<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Minced pork: 400g<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Breadcrumbs: 4 tbsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ground blackpepper: to taste<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Salt: 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ground paprika: 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ground cumin: 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Egg: 1<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Butter: 1 tbsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bacon strips: 6 slices, chopped finely<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">White onion: 1, finely chopped<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Spring onion: 2 stalks, chopped finely + enough for wrapping (10 stems)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Olive oil: 2 tbsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Knorr J\u00e4ger So\u00dfe (or any other soup or sauce): 1 packet<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Method<\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cook 10 cabbage leaves in 2 liters of boiling water for 30min. Set aside to cool.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mix minced pork, breadcrumbs, blackpepper, salt, paprika, cumin and egg together.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Heat butter in wok. Fry half the amount of chopped bacon for 1min.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Add white and spring onions into wok. Fry till onions turn soft and transparent.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Add onion mixture into pork mixture. Mix thoroughly.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Place about 2 tbsp of mixture into core of 1 cabbage leaf (nearer to the stem).<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fold the sides in and roll cabbage over to enclose meat filling.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tie up the cabbage roll with spring onion. Do not pull too tightly or the spring onion would break.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Repeat steps 6 &#8211; 8 with the other 9 leaves.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Heat oil in wok. Place rolls in wok and fry each side for about 8min. Set aside.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">To prepare sauce for rolls, fry the rest of the bacon in wok.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Add sauce and 1 cup of water into wok.
