I&#8217;ve decided to revisit a previous recipe but use a different ground nut powder instead.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The smell of baked ground nut filling the kitchen during the festive season &#8211; that, in my opinion, is what makes home a great place to return to. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Ingredient<\/strong><strong>s<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ground cashew nut powder: 300g (2.5 cups)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Caster sugar: 180g (3\/4 cup)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Plain flour: 250g (2.5 cups), sifted<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Salt: 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vanilla essence: 1 tsp<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vegetable oil: 250ml (1 cup)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Egg: 1, lightly beaten<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Unsalted cashew nut: 1 cup, halved<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Method<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Preheat oven at 190 degrees Celsius. Prepare a few greased baking trays and set aside.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mix ground cashew nut powder, sugar, flour and salt together.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mix in vanilla essence.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gradually pour in oil while kneading. Knead till mixture does not crumble anymore.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Use fingers to scoop up 2 tbsp mixture. Knead to form round balls.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Place onto baking trays. Brush with beaten egg wash.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Place 1 halved cashew nut on top of each ball.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bake 15 min.
