<\/strong>In an attempt to draw in more customers to its gaming areas, Marina Bay Sands have lined up a tasty array of restaurants spearheaded by celebrity chefs. These magicians in the kitchen have opened their first restaurants in Singapore\u2019s premier casino, elevating the country’s dining scene to a much higher level.<\/p>\n

Culinary behemoths Wolfgang Puck, Mario Batali, and Tetsuya Wakuda are just three of the chefs who have launched their highly-regarded restaurants in Marina Bay Sands<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSingapore will become the culinary epicenter of Asia,\u201d said Thomas Arasi, current CEO and President of Marina Bay Sands. \u201cThe quality of these six chefs will make Marina Bay Sands a dining experience that is beyond comparison.\u201d<\/p>\n

Casinos and bingo halls are having a tough time currently; as they are struggling to draw in the same volume as people they did 15-years-ago, not part down to the emergence of digital gaming channels. With online bingo portals and slot machine sites offering not complimentary credits as well as free test rooms to new players<\/a> for when they want to just play without spending real money, land-based casinos are losing their grip on the entertainment industry. In order to stay competitive, these gaming establishments are working hard to expand their offerings. Most casinos now either have shopping centers nearby or open restaurants managed by top chefs just like the Marina Bay Sands to help stay relevant in the industry.<\/p>\n

Each of the six star chefs were personally involved in creating concepts for their new restaurants, from the design of the restaurants to their menus. They had complete control over what to serve to guests so patrons will be able to experience the fullness of the chef\u2019s talents and creativity.<\/p>\n

“We hope to bring our unique take on both traditional and modern Italian culture, lifestyle and cooking to the heart of the most important city in Asia and we look forward to learning much from the locals about their fascinating culture and food,\u201d said Chef Mario Batali, owner of the highly-regarded restaurant in NYC<\/a> called Babbo, in a recent interview. \u201cThis is, without a doubt, the most exciting project I have ever been involved with and I look forward to many years of collaboration.”<\/p>\n

Apart from the 6 new restaurants in Marina Bay Sands being operated by the very chefs who own them, the hotel and casino is planning to open more signature bistros in the coming months.<\/p>\n
