I am no believer of any religion, not to mention Christianity or Judaism or Buddhism. But here in Dresden, I feel blessed, because the Christmas markets seem to have invaded the whole town, with merchants and locksmiths from all of the previous centuries who have travelled forward in time.
So the only thing I can say to Him is:
“Thank you for the Christmas markets; without you, they will not be in existence.”
“Thank you for the cute little pigs (and for making them so tasty).”
