I did another version of a ‘Frozen Cream Cake With Summer Fruits And Colours‘, this time with strawberries only instead of a mixture of fruits. I actually prefer the version that I did nine years ago for my mum. The cake looked a lot nicer with the different colours, the peach in the cake was sweeter and the crust at the top of the cake gave it a nicer texture too. This version has only strawberries throughout so it’s definitely lacking in both slightly.The strawberries at the top of the cake was a lot more difficult to cut through too!
It was still a fun experiment nevertheless! Just replace all the fruits with strawberries, or with your favourite fruit will do. This dessert is a nice cool and chill indulgence to end the summer season, before the cold spell starts again in a month’s time.
