Instant Noodles With Sambal Belachan & Olive Oil

Sometimes, all it takes is a little dressing and some spice and kick to create that special bowl of noodles for my meals at home. Fish sauce. Lime juice. Parsley. Voila – a perfect meal for the day!

Ingredients:

  • Instant noodles: 1 pack
  • Olive oil: 3 tbsp
  • Oyster sauce: 1.5 tbsp
  • Sambal belacan: 1 tbsp (or more if preferred)
  • Lime juice: 1, small
  • Fish sauce: 1 tsp
  • Parsley: 1 stalk, finely chopped

Method:

  1. Cook noodles in boiling water. Drain and scoop into a serving bowl.
  2. Mix together olive oil, oyster sayce, sambal belacan, lime juice and fish sauce.
  3. Toss noodles in sauce to combine.
  4. Garnish with parsley to serve.
