This recipe for lemonade is simple and much desired during the hot summer season! There’s no summer in Singapore because it’s hot on most days, so this drink will be a saviour at anytime of the day, on any day of the week. You’ll definitely ask for more once you finish a glass of lemonade so make sure to make more of it!
Ingredients:
- Lemon: 1, rind thinly peeled & juiced + 3 small slices to garnish
- Sugar: 50g
- Boiling water: 500ml
- Ice cubes: 2 cups
Method:
- Place lemon rind and sugar into a jug.
- Pour boiling water into jug. Stir to dissolve sugar. Leave to cool.
- Stir lemon juice into sugar syrup. Leave lemonade to chill in fridge.
- Place ½ cup ice cubes and 1 slice lemon into each of the 3 serving glasses.
- Pour chilled lemonade into glasses to serve.
