Of course, my heartfelt thanks goes to ‘Sabine’, because without her, I wouldn’t have realised that this dessert is so easy to make! And I like that I’m no longer at the mercy of dessert hawkers who spoon miserable amounts of gula melaka onto the shaved ice; I can have all of what I want. 😆
Because seriously, I’m desperate. What else can I do with my remaining apple cider vinegar and curry powder?
Last December, while I was away in Dresden, my significant other decided, finally, to cook dinner for himself, a meal that involves neither maggi mees nor just the microwave alone. However, instead of jumping straight into the details of the recipe, let me start off from the last part of my entry:

I’ve just finished reading a very saddening yet brave life story of Kim Jong Il’s personal agent, Kim Jong Ryul. Life and Flight of A North Korean Agent – it is saddening because it seems to me that he will not live to see his one and only dream in life fulfilled – that of the reunification of North and South Korea.
Weil es riesig einfach ist, obwohl es eigentlich sehr viele Spielregeln hat. Ich habe nicht einmal gedacht, dass ein Spiel, das so viele Regeln gibt, kann so lustig sein. Tatsächlich ist es einfacher als Carcassonne, weil man mit den Stoffkarten und dem Räuber mehr komplexe Strategien planen kann. Ich bin besonders überrascht, dass ich zwei von zwei mal das Spiel gewonnen habe!
