I haven’t made a one-pot slow cooker dish in a while. Probably also because work-from-home is gradually fading away to become a phrase of the past, and as such, it’s not so easy to manage dishes that are being slow cooked and left alone at home. I am not sure, after this one, when the next slow cooker dish might come along again.
It is the end of the lohei season, finally. And honestly, I’ve had one of the worst loheis this year, because the tray was filled with leafy lettuces and there were more leafy greens than there were other ingredients. So it was not very tasty and appetising.
It’s the first day of Lunar New Year, and we are finally headed into the dragon year. So here’s wishing all of Hungry PeePor’s readers a very happy Chinese New Year!
It’s the week before Chinese New Year! Can’t wait for the long break to come. This year is great because CNY eve is on a work weekday, so there’s an additional half a day off as well. I say, we should have that whole day off work as well.
The rain has finally stopped. This weekend is a sunny one, and I’m hoping that the sunshine will continue into Sunday and the rest of the year as well. Also, the boy’s fever is finally gone. I’m hoping to catch up on some sleep this weekend. The sun can still continue to shine out there and bring cheers to everyone who’s feeling blue.
