I’ve tried to make pretzels before, and I failed horribly. When I dipped the dough into the soda water, the dough dissolved in the solution and became unsalvagable. Not sure why that happened… but it definitely got me discouraged for some time.

Stuffed Prawns In Crispy Wanton Skin

Yesterday, the guy and I took a day off to listen in to the Primary one school orientation session arranged by the school for the parents and kiddos via Zoom. The entire session took almost two hours to listen in, and it was difficult to stay alert and awake for the entire time on an online forum. The boy gave up almost 15 minutes into the session and fell asleep at the tail end of it. It’s quite dry and rather unhelpful, unfortunately. I wish, again, that Covid wasn’t here and we could actually have the session in the school itself.

Gefüllte Hörnchen (Filled Croissants)

We’ve just decked out the Christmas tree at home. This year, the tree looks much happier because it received presents too, earlier than anyone else at home. It has a star standing tall at the top of its crown and new little shiny decorations on its branches. And now, there are new residents staying within its nests – little Octonauts who decided they would like to take a vacation in the tree for Christmas.
