It was my mum’s birthday. I wanted to make a cake for everyone to celebrate her birthday. It had to be hassle-free and quick to whip up since I am desperately lacking in time to do a hundred and one things over the weekends nowadays.


A very simple dish to make using very simple ingredients. This plate of tofu with minced meat is something I’d be happy to make regularly because it’s so simple to prepare and takes less than half an hour to whip up. Try it!


Many cafes in Singapore sell different variations of sweet muffins such as banana muffin, blueberry muffin, pecan nuts and oats muffin, chocolate muffin etc. But I don’t really like them anymore. After my pregnancy, my tastebuds switched from a sweet one to a totally savoury one.
