I love the Himalayan Frappe at McCafé. The Thai tea flavour is deep and strong, the milk is thick and the blend is heavenly. This is probably the only drink I order at McDonald’s nowadays. It is not cheap though – a cup of blended frappe for more than six dollars means burning a big hole in a pocket. I wish I could have this drink right at home – every. single. day.
Christmas is finally here! What about some light and fluffy marshmallows to go with that mulled wine? Make them green and perhaps red too and have them with your cuppa home-brewed chocolate or cappuccino.
I haven’t baked bread or buns for a while now. Baking usually takes up the whole of my afternoon, which could be time well-spent on other necessary house chores nowadays. But this recipe on Pinterest had to keep showing up on my Pinterest homepage – Buchteln – bread made of milk and butter, with apricot jam hidden within. It was the Christmas season in Vienna, Austria; the weather was freezing cold and windy. But it was there that we ate our first authentic Schnitzel. The guy ordered his plate of Schnitzel and gosh was it humongous (I meant the piece of meat). Most Schnitzels are actually, unlike mine in this attempt.
Ok, maybe it was just about twenty layers of crepe in this cake, but it was definitely made with an infinite volume of love. This cake was prepared for my hub on the day of his birthday. I spent a crazy amount of time making this just for him. I’m declaring this over here just so he knows haha…
