Upma Style Instant Noodles With Vegetable Stir-Fry

The boy is now at the age where he will do as told without hesitating too much. My current hobby is to get him to come over and kiss mummy and he will do that in a very excited and happy manner, sometimes giving a loud ‘muack’ just to show he could do it well. On some occasions, when he is in a particularly happy mood, I even get rewarded with another one on the other cheek. This boy is such a teaser.

Feasting On Eurasian Birthday Mee

The little boy recently surprised me with a new set of skills that he had acquired for himself – his colouring skills. He seemed to have taken on a new hobby in school, colouring a new picture everyday during his free period at the end of class. These pictures that he colours look amazing. The strokes were all kept within the outlines and he was able to fill in all the white spaces as well. When he suggested to do some colouring activities together at home, I couldn’t help but stare at him while he colours, feeling amazed at the humongous step that he has made for himself. When did he reach this milestone in his life? Did I miss out on something again?

Another Version Of Lemony Butter Cookies

I’ve attempted quite a few recipes of lemon cookies before – Lemon Butter Cookies You Won’t Have Enough Of (hahaha) which uses a mixture of butter, egg icing sugar, as well as Lemony Almond Shortbread And A Shot of Sour Redolence (hahahahaha) which is very similar to the first recipe, but with stronger lemon and butter flavours. This particular attempt seeks to try out a third version, which uses a stronger lemon flavour, also because I am using less butter and no egg here. The result is a very crunchy cookie that has a very refreshing and much more obvious lemon flavour – one that is an obvious winner for those who love lemon flavours and cookies that are less buttery/contains no egg.
